Where the bean meets the earth

Every bean we roast tells a story of the land, the farmer, and the generations who have tended these hills with care. Our sourcing is a commitment to quality, sustainability, and the rich heritage of Indian coffee.

The Origin

Chikmagalur β€” the cradle of Indian coffee. Nestled in the Western Ghats, our ancestral estate spans over 70 acres of lush, high-altitude terrain. The region's unique microclimate, rich soils, and misty mornings create the perfect conditions for growing 100% Arabica and fine Robusta beans.

Our journey began in 1955, when Chetan Gowda's father planted the first saplings. Today, we continue that legacy β€” working with the same dedication to preserve the land and honour the craft.

We source exclusively from our own estate and a select group of neighbouring family farms, ensuring full traceability from cherry to cup. Every batch is hand-picked, sun-dried, and wood-roasted to unlock the natural sweetness and complexity of the bean.

From Cherry to Cup

Each step is a labour of love, passed down through generations.

1

Hand-Picking

Selectively harvested at peak ripeness to ensure only the finest cherries make the cut.

2

Wet Processing

De-pulped and fermented in clean water to enhance the bean's natural clarity and acidity.

3

Sun Drying

Spread on raised beds under the Chikmagalur sun for 10–14 days, developing rich, fruity notes.

4

Wood Roasting

Small-batch roasted over seasoned firewood β€” our signature method that brings out the golden caramel and chocolate tones.
